Galatians 5 tells us that the fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ have crucified with the flesh its passions and desires. When we believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, there is a call to change. We go from spiritual death to spiritual life. We receive a new heart and a new mind. And with this comes a new way of walking and talking, which are the fruits of the Spirit. We read in Matthew 7 about false prophets, knowing them by the fruits that they bear. But I think this could go for all of us. That the ways that we act should be aligned with the God that we serve. So I created this ring to be a reminder that it is so important the way that we walk and the way that we talk and treat others. We are called to be lights to this world.
